Questions and answers

Good questions, clear answers.

The essentials on what See-Hear is, how it works, and what to expect. If your question is not here, reach out and we will help.

What is See-Hear?
See-Hear is prescription-ready consumer audio eyewear with open-ear speakers, microphones for calls, Bluetooth audio, and phone-based EQ controls. It is not a hearing aid or medical device.
Is See-Hear a hearing aid?
No. See-Hear is not a hearing aid, medical device, or treatment for hearing loss. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or address hearing loss or any medical condition. For concerns about your hearing, consult a qualified health professional.
How is it designed to support conversation?
Microphones in the temples capture the sound field around the frame. The array is designed to prioritize speech from the direction you are facing, then open-ear speakers deliver audio near the ear while keeping the ear canal open.
Can I get my prescription lenses in these frames?
Yes. Every frame style is prescription-ready, so you can wear See-Hear as your daily glasses. Fitting and lens details will be shared with early-access members as we open the first release.
Will people be able to tell I am wearing technology?
The electronics live in the frame arms. From the front, the product is designed to look like regular prescription eyewear.
How long does the battery last?
The rechargeable arms are designed for daily eyewear use and to top up on a charging dock. Final battery-duration claims will be published with product-specific testing.
Which frame styles are available?
The opening collection includes Classic Wayfarer, Contemporary Square, Executive Navigator, Round P3, Semi-Rim Clubmaster, and Slim Rectangle. The technology is consistent across the collection, so you can choose by shape and fit.
When can I buy one?
