Questions and answers
Good questions, clear answers.
The essentials on what See-Hear is, how it works, and what to expect. If your question is not here, reach out and we will help.
- What is See-Hear?
- See-Hear is premium hearing-enhancement eyewear. It pairs directional microphones, open-ear audio, and adaptive sound processing with a prescription-ready frame, so you get everyday clarity and conversation focus in eyewear you would want to wear anyway.
- Is See-Hear a hearing aid?
- No. See-Hear is consumer hearing-enhancement eyewear, not a medical device and not a hearing aid. It is designed to support clarity and conversation focus in everyday listening. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or address hearing loss. If you have concerns about your hearing, please speak with a qualified health professional.
- How does it help me hear conversations more clearly?
- Microphones in the temples sense the sound around you, the array leans toward the voice in front of you, and adaptive processing refines that sound in real time. Open-ear speakers then deliver it just outside your ear, so the conversation comes forward while you stay aware of the room.
- Can I get my prescription lenses in these frames?
- Yes. Every frame style is prescription-ready, so you can wear See-Hear as your daily glasses. Fitting and lens details will be shared with early-access members as we open the first release.
- Will people be able to tell I am wearing technology?
- That is the point of the design. The electronics live discreetly in the arms, the styling reads as premium eyewear rather than an assistive device, and there is no visible hardware to draw attention.
- How long does the battery last?
- See-Hear is engineered to carry you from morning to evening on a single charge. Power lives in the rechargeable arms and tops up on a simple dock overnight, so there are no disposable cells to manage.
- Which frame styles are available?
- Six to start: Classic Square, Soft Rectangle, Modern Wayfarer, Rounded Square, Panto, and Aviator. Each one carries the same technology, so you can choose purely on how it looks.
- When can I buy one?
- We are opening early access first. Join the waitlist and we will share frame availability, fitting details, and launch timing as the first release opens.
